ADAMS BROTHERS USED AUTO PARTS SIGNS ON FOR 9TH ANNUAL QUAKER STEAK & LUBE DIRT TRACK HEROES CAR SHOW

One of the highlights of the many that will be showcased at the Ninth Annual Quaker Steak & Lube Dirt Track Heroes Show will be an evening in which the young racing stars have a chance to shine is the “Stars of Tomorrow” night. The management staff of the show has reached out to all of the local Quarter Midget clubs in the area for the fans to meet the driving stars they will be rooting for in the future. The past, present and future of auto racing will all join forces together under one roof in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. The successful show kicks off on Sunday, March 6th with the honoring of one of the top local Modified stars “The Belvidere Bandit” Carl “Fuzzy” Van Horn.

The Phillipsburg Mall, located on Route 22 East in Phillipsburg, NJ, has proven to be a popular setting for this special event and will offer a multitude of race cars, racing memorabilia, collectibles and photos on display throughout the course of the show. The show continues to be FREE of charge to the mall traffic and the 2016 edition of the show continues to be the trend setter of the many shows that are scheduled during the year. With an exciting and diverse schedule of events to whet the appetite of any true race fan, large crowds are expected to fill the wide walkways of the Phillipsburg Mall.

Quaker Steak & Lube, or The Lube(r) to loyalists, the award-winning casual dining concept known for its Best Wings USA and over 25 signature sauces, is fully prepped and geared as the lead sponsor for the 9th Annual Dirt Track Heroes Car Show. Quaker Steak & Lube, which opened in Phillipsburg, New Jersey in August of 2014, signed on with the successful show last February and were extremely pleased with the excellent results and the great feedback they received from their initial venture with the popular annual racing oriented show. Harry Purcell owns the facility and will be sponsoring the “Stars of Tomorrow” Tuesday night, March 8th for the young racers from all of the Quarter Midget Clubs in the local area. All historical racing groups including Reading, Flemington, Harmony, Dorney Park and Nazareth will have their memorabilia on display and their many scrapbooks open for the fans to take another long look at the glory years of racing and possibly find a picture or two they want to purchase as a keepsake from past glory or racing exploits. Cars on display include big and small block Modifieds, Sportsman, Micro-Sprints, ARDC Midgets, 358 and 360 Sprints, TSRS Sprints, Late Models, go-karts, quarter midgets and a broad range of vintage and restored race cars. New Egypt, Grandview, Big Diamond, Bridgeport, Hamlin, Action Track USA and Snydersville will again be among the many speedways involved with the 2016 show. The week-long event will set aside one evening to salute the “Stars of Tomorrow” with a special night for the budding young racing talents competing with the many quarter midget clubs in the local area.
