Gates open at 5 PM with race time set for 7:30 PM.?? In the event of rain, Wednesday night, June 6 will be the rain date.???? The Eastern Storm will then move to the New Egypt Speedway? on Thursday night, June 7 when USAC non-wing sprints team up with the Big Block modifieds.? The five previous USAC Eastern Storm events at Grandview were won by Levi Jones in 2007 and again in 2010.? The late Jesse Hockett won the Grandview events in 2008 and 2009 as ?The Beast?? Bobby East was the winner in 2011.?? This year?s event,? the Jesse Hockett Classic main will go a distance of 40 laps and pay $6,000 to the feature winner.

On Thursday night, June 7, the Eastern Storm will head to the New Egypt Speedway to team up in a double-header with the Big Block Modifieds.?? The USAC sprints will chase a $6,000 payday in the 30 lap feature as the Big Block Modifieds shoot for $3,000 to win in their 30 lap main event.
