NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series Welcomes Ms. Thunder on the Hill Andrea Cap; Jesse Hockett Classic this Tuesday, June 11

Bechtelsville, PA (June 9, 2019) – The NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series would like to welcome Andrea Cap as the new Ms. Thunder on the Hill for the upcoming 2019 Racing Season. Andrea will make her debut with the USAC National Sprint Car Championship on Tuesday, June 11 for the Jesse Hockett Classic at Grandview Speedway.

Hailing from York, PA, Andrea works as a security specialist for the Department of Justice, but as an avid race fan you can most likely find her at the race track on the weekends. A self-proclaimed ‘pizza addict’, Andrea also loves running, hiking and traveling.

Andrea’s interest in racing started by watching friends who raced 600 Micro Sprints, but since then she has grown to love all classes and has even traveled around the country visiting different tracks.

Whether it be assisting with live broadcasting with Dirt Station, participating in the Ms. Motorsports pageant, or even just scraping mud in the pit area, Andrea loves meeting new people and interacting with all sides of the racing world and is excited to meet the fans at Thunder on The Hill!

As Miss Thunder on the Hill, Andrea will be interacting with fans at pre-race festivities, will participate in the pre-race pit tours, Inside-Out promotion, and will also accompany the race winners in Victory Lane.

A staple of NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series events the 2019 Thunder Girls, are Lindsey Garl and Becky Yerk.

Lindsey is 20-years-old and studies nursing at Alvernia University. Following in the footsteps of her Dad and Poppop, Lindsey started racing at five-years-old and continues to compete in the Slingshot division. Along with continuing her racing career, Lindsey aspires to be a flight nurse and in her spare time enjoys traveling, writing, cooking, watching races with friends and family, and doing anything to push her outside of her comfort zone.

Spending her whole life around racing, Becky enjoys attending events at Grandview Speedway with her friends and family – and eating the best French fries around. She started racing quarter midgets at twelve-years-old and competed for four years. Following in the footsteps of her older sister, Kristina – Ms. Thunder on the Hill 2018, Becky is excited for the 2019 Thunder on the Hill Racing season.

Fans can stop by the front gate to greet the Thunder Girls at all NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series events. Lindsey and Becky will assist fans with sign-ups for our free pit tours, and our Inside Out promotion – where fans can watching warm-ups from the infield at Grandview Speedway.

The NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series kicks off this Tuesday, June 11 with the USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car Championship competing in the 13th Annual Jesse Hockett Classic alongside the NASCAR 358 Modifieds.

Advance tickets may be ordered for the Tuesday, June 11 by calling 443 513 4456. Please speak slowly and clearly when leaving a message and be sure to provide your name and number of tickets you will need. Tickets may be paid for and picked up at the WILL CALL Window on race night after 3:30 PM. Advance ticket holders may entitle you to enter the grandstands at 4:30. Adult admission tickets are $30, children 6 to 11 $10 and children five and under will be admitted for free. Advance tickets may be order until 9:00 AM on Tuesday, June 11. General admission tickets will go on sale at 5 PM at the Grandview Speedway.
